As a former engineer turned product manager, with a specialised education with marketing, I have found my place at the intersection of strategy and technology. I have been fortunate enough to utilise, at every step of my professional journey, my expertise to build onto more know avenues of knowledge and further opportunities to apply them.In a period of 5 years, I have worked across multiple products, some time-sensitive in terms of its utility window, some ever-growing expansive ecosystem; all utilising cutting-edge technologies to solve real life problems for researchers around the world. I have been assigned responsibilities to create impact along the business funnels for different products, from growth and engagement to monetization and retention.My current product portfolio is aimed at helping publish the best version of research manuscripts. The pre-submission tool helps author to check their manuscript for language quality and technical compliance to the respective journal’s submission guideline. Meanwhile, the post-submission version of the product is an AI tool that helps journal editorial desk to identify compromised manuscript, saving both – time and money – to perform these services by humans.
