The post-silicon validation engineer intern plays a crucial role in the field of semiconductor engineering. My primary responsibility is to assist the post-silicon validation team in verifying and validating the functionality and performance of newly developed integrated circuits (ICs) and chips. This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of these complex electronic devices. During my internship, the post-silicon validation engineer works closely with senior engineers and other team members to execute test plans and procedures. I collaborate in implementing validation tests, which involve running various simulations and tests to evaluate the functionality and performance of the ICs.
