Ensure that consulting proposals and contracts are developed and issued to a consistent level of quality and within acceptable level’s of risk. Ensure scope of work, work estimates, assumptions and pricing reconcile; add value through feedback to bid managers to mitigate risks; advice practice management of final “approved” or “not-approved” disposition of proposal to be presented to client. Responsible for coaching Sales teams and Bid Managers on the mechanics of corporate polices, the proposal development process, tools, risk evaluation and mitigation, estimation methodologies, writing winning proposals and contracts and interfacing with other organizations involved in the contract review and approval process.Review monthly project progress reports for designated projects; provide summary information and recommendations to senior Oracle management with respect to status of project. Verify that major projects are being delivered in accordance with documented business practices and procedures. Work closely with divisional and vertical practices and global service lines to promote consistent standards and practices for managing risk in new and emerging business sectors. Capturing best practices and lessons learned to continuously improve Oracle Consulting project delivery performance.Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate risks, issues, propose alternatives and mitigation, capable of being seen as giving independent input to the proposal and contract review process and also able to gain the respect of the sales through experience and knowledge. Act as the Global Risk Management liaison for project reviews, review of in-flight deals and play the role of a training anchor for the teams during acquisition of new companies.
