   Providing technical and regulatory support as a subject matter expert on: Tires, Wheels & Wheel Guards Suspension Systems, Bumper Systems, Exhaust Routings, Flammability, Event Data Recorders This role allows me to work with and support various teams of engineering including Product Development, Design and Release, Vehicle Architecture, Vehicle Integration, etc, and with program managers and other regional leads to support programs and homologation teams demonstrate regulatory compliance. This role gives me the opportunity to participate in safety governance forums within the automotive safety office and develop Ford’s safety point of view. I support with technical guidance on the interpretations of existing safety standards as well as stay abreast with new regulatory changes and transitional provisions. This role requires my technical and regulatory support in regions such as North America, South America, certain APAC markets, Europe, Australia as well as has opened up avenues for me to support GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) markets. I also support discussions in Strategy and Rule Making proposals from Nhtsa by working with the Alliance for Automotive Innovatation (AFAI) and different working groups within Ford Motor Company. More recently Event Data Recorders and NHTSA\'s request for practicability of increasing pre-crash duration and the need for a higher frequency of sampling rate collection.
