Identifying and attending cost and scrap/repair reduction of parts. Non conforming (NC) product review and NC Analysis by using the 7 Quality Tools and prepare action. Reviewing and confirming schedules with PPS—P.A.P. Negotiating schedule and contracting jobbers for production as per P-A-P. Drawing control at jobber locations. Process approval in every production campaign. Supervise & monitor production In-Processes at jobber sites. Pre-delivery inspection at jobber site. Implementation of Quality Plans, SOPs, Inspection Plans / formats. Audit for use of calibrated instruments, gages, fixtures etc. Review, agreements and disposition of NCRs (CARP & Rejection Notices). Production monitoring sheet updation. Salvage & Rework and reviews. Costs – standard vs. actual after rejection & salvage rework. Review and recommendations on jobber bills. Building & maintaining good relationships with jobbers.
