ABOUT ABHISHEK RAJHANS

I am Abhishek Rajhans, a final-year B.Tech student at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Ranchi, specializing in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. My core interests lie in machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, and I have developed hands-on expertise using libraries such as OpenCV. During my internship at IIT Indore under the SRFP (INSA) program, I honed my skills in Natural Language Processing by working with state-of-the-art models like Transformers and BERT. My research experience further extends into medical imaging—where I employed tools like CAT12 integrated with SPM12 to preprocess MRI scans from the ADNI dataset, and subsequently trained various CNN and Vision Transformer models. Currently, I am deepening my knowledge of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) while exploring advanced applications in generative AI and computer vision. My work has led to co-authoring research on early Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis using a synergy of MRI and CNN, and I have published findings on the impact of financial news sentiment on stock price forecasting in Xplore.
