ABOUT ABHISHEK MAHAJAN

I graduated from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance).I have experience supporting multi-jurisdiction indirect tax compliance (SALT), leveraging tax technology and data analytics to ensure accurate reporting, audit readiness, and scalable compliance processes. My work includes use tax reviews, monthly accrual management, sales & use tax (SUT) data analysis, and economic nexus studies across multiple jurisdictions.I’m highly proficient in modern tax and analytics tools, including Avalara, Vertex, Alteryx, Microsoft Excel, SAP, and RIA Checkpoint, and I focus on automating workflows, improving data integrity, and reducing manual effort across compliance functions.In addition to indirect tax, I have experience preparing and supporting income tax and property tax filings for individuals and businesses, including Forms 1040, 1065, 1120S, and 1120, using professional platforms such as CaseWare and Axcess. I’ve also supported payroll-related compliance work and credit analyses, further strengthening my cross-functional tax and financial operations foundation.I’m passionate about tax technology, automation, and compliance transformation, and I enjoy helping organizations implement efficient, technology-driven tax solutions that scale with growth. I bring a holistic, systems-oriented approach that combines technical precision with strategic insight to deliver durable, high-impact outcomes.
