ABOUT ABHISHEK AGWEKAR

I am an academic leader, educator, and Ph.D. research scholar with extensive experience in engineering education, academic administration, and research-driven teaching. I currently serve as Head of Department – First Year at Bansal Group of Institutes, Bhopal (BIRT & BIRTS), where I lead academic planning, curriculum implementation, faculty coordination, and student mentoring for foundational engineering programs.My core responsibility is to build a strong academic and disciplinary foundation for first-year engineering students, aligned with RGPV examination patterns and outcome-based education (OBE). I actively focus on improving teaching quality, academic performance, and student engagement through structured assessments, mentoring systems, and continuous academic monitoring.Alongside my leadership role, I am a Ph.D. Research Scholar working in the areas of Analog Computing, VLSI, CMOS circuit design, and Machine Learning-enabled hardware architectures. My research interests include low-power analog computing, process and temperature scalability, and hardware-efficient ML systems.I believe in ethical leadership, academic rigor, and continuous improvement, with a strong commitment to nurturing disciplined, skilled, and industry-ready engineers.
