Hi, I am Abhipsa Munsi, a passionate sociology undergraduate student in my third year. As an undergraduate student, I am deeply fascinated by people and the complexities of human behaviour and social dynamics. My academic journey is fueled by a keen interest in understanding the intricacies of society and contributing meaningfully to my community.I am an active participant in various extracurricular activities, being a member of four cultural clubs and one technical club within the Department of Sociology and a Senator in the Student council. I had worked in the Summer with the Admissions department as a Postgraduate Admissions Ambassador in my university. In the past year I undertook an year long Opportunities for Undergraduate Research in my University and worked alongside my professors in my department on Durga Puja and Migration among Bengali\'s in Chennai.I am currently working as a Research Intern at AICC and I am also working in the Dean\'s Office in The School of Humanities and Social Sciences and I am actively involved with Global Youth India as a member and podcaster.These engagements allow me to broaden my horizons and apply sociological concepts in practical settings. Beyond academics, I am an enthusiastic writer and poet, always eager to express my thoughts and observations through written words. My love for South Asia and South East Asia through its culturally diverse Dramas, Webtoons and its variety languages complements my sociological interests, offering diverse cultural perspectives and enriching my understanding of different societies. Additionally alongside doing and exploring sociology I am learning Mandarin and looking for opportunities to expand my horizons with it.With all of this said I am committed to personal growth, community involvement, and the continuous pursuit of knowledge.
