About Abhinay Nagpal
Hands on Software engineer/ manager who likes to build and work with highly scalable systems. I love to learn new technologies and work on interesting problems. I believe in servant leadership and helping people succeed in building delightful products. Currently managing the control plane engineering at Nutanix with more than 100 members spread across multiple geos- I was the tech lead for the analytics team (Prism Pro) at Nutanix. I helped ideate, architect the design and code for the product, it is the fastest growing product in the Nutanix portfolio. I also wrote the Acropolis dynamic scheduler as well as Nutanix cluster health. Presented my work at top tier conferences as well hold as half a dozen patents around this work- I was a Masters in Computer Science student at Stanford. My concentration was - Databases, Web and Data Mining/Machine learning and Systems- I have experience of working in research labs, product development as well as in webscale/ large scale distributed companies like Linkedin and Nutanix- I also worked at IBM\'s India Software Lab. I was part of the DB2 product organization. I was lucky to have worked with some brilliant engineers and I was an inventor with them on a few patents
