With over 17 years of domain expertise in India’s food processing and allied sectors, I have consistently worked at the intersection of policy, industry, and trade—driving systemic improvements that foster growth, resilience, and global competitiveness.A key part of my journey has been working closely with industry stakeholders—listening to their challenges, understanding ground realities, and actively representing their concerns before the government. This deep engagement has helped translate policy into actionable outcomes while ensuring that regulatory and institutional frameworks are aligned with the needs of businesses across the value chain.During my 15+ years at the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), I led the Food Processing division, CIFTI, and the Centre of Nutritional Excellence. I played a central role in shaping FICCI’s position as a trusted bridge between industry and government.
