Roles and Responsibilities :• Strategic sourcing of ingredients for fresh beverages business along with sourcing of packaging material for fresh food and fresh beverages businesses• Strategic sourcing of cleaning tools and chemicals for use in maintaining hygiene of 55 stores across Mumbai and Pune• Managing an annual spend of Rs 20.5 Cr : fresh beverage ingredients - Rs 13.4 Cr, packaging - Rs 5.6 Cr, cleaning tools and chemicals - Rs 1.5 Cr• Identifying strategic vendors and leveraging the relationship with them for further cost improvement, innovation and better supply agility with reduced lead times.• Exploring and developing new vendors wherever they can provide better value to business in terms of cost, capability, quality and service• Undertaking cost saving initiatives through value engineering to reduce COGs and deliver better gross margins to business• Ensuring detailed supply agreements are in place with strategic vendors and succinct “Terms of Trade” agreement with non-strategic vendorsAchievements:•Achieved annualized savings of Rs 0.50 Cr in cleaning tools and chemicals by rationalizing the skus and developing new vendor•Delivered annualized savings of Rs 0.20 Cr in cups packaging portfolio by change of GSM and substrate from PLA to Filobev•Optimized the specifications of pizza box to deliver a savings of Rs 0.24 Cr in FY24•Achieved annualized savings of Rs 0.10 Cr against a spend of Rs 0.60 Cr in sourcing of soft serve baked king cone through alternate vendor development•Negotiated with Coca Cola India for make to order of 10 litre Coke BIBs instead of procuring standard 20 litre Coke BIBs to reduce the dump by 37.50% resulting in post dump savings of Rs 0.24 Cr in FY24•Achieved 14% reduction in the buying price of small and 12% in large delivery paper bags through negotiations with existing vendor which will help to realize a savings of Rs 0.28 Cr in FY25
