About Abhimit Mishra

I’m a Game Director and studio founder focused on systems-first design and production-aware game development. I work at the intersection of game direction, scope control, and execution, helping teams turn ideas into strong, testable, and commercially viable builds.I currently lead FatCatPlay Game Studio, a DPIIT registered startup that develops original IPs across PC and mobile. My work emphasises clear game loops, scalable mechanics, and early risk reduction- designing with team capacity, timelines, and funding realities in mind.Before founding the studio, I worked in toy design and manufacturing, leading the development and launch of 22 SKUs for global markets. This background drives my design approach, emphasising constraints, fast iteration, repeatable systems, and novelty that can scale.Alongside studio work, I teach Game Design at Avantika University and mentor developers through Gamer2Maker, focusing on systems thinking, gameplay fundamentals, and production planning.I’m interested in collaborating with clients, publishers, and funders who value clarity over hype and are building games designed to ship.
