Abhi Gupta is the Senior Vice President for (DII) Document Indexing and Imaging where he is responsible for leading the automation efforts to support document classification and data extraction of incoming correspondence to the bank across various intake channels. Abhi began his career as a business systems analyst building and supporting the Loan Origination System. He joined Bank of America in 2009 with Mortgage Servicing operations and supported the Loan Modification team during the mortgage crisis (2009 to 2011). Later, he moved into a leadership position managing UAT and the Configuration function for the Mortgage and Vehicle Servicing Division until 2020. During his nine years managing user testing, Abhi supported ~200 technology deployments and ~$50+ million in technology spent annually. Increased the work output by 28%, UAT effectiveness to 98% and maintained on time delivery. An inclusive leader, Abhi is actively involved in numerous banking organizations focused on mentoring and developing talent. In 2022, he was selected as a top candidate for Bank of America’s annual Diverse Leadership Sponsor program.Originally from India, Abhi moved to the United States 23 years ago where he started graduate school. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Science. He has attained the PMP Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI). Abhi resides in California with his wife and their two boys. An avid traveler, he loves vacationing and hiking with his family.
