ABOUT ABHILASH KONDA
As a Fermentation Specialist at Enzymicals AG, I focus on developing and optimization of microbial fermentation processes to produce recombinant proteins. I do microbial cultivation in various scale of fermenters and help in scaling up the process. Operation and maintenance of fermenters, troubleshoot problems, and perform enzymatic and protein analyses, SDS PAGE and can perform protein purification through Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography. I have successfully contributed to the production of natural pigments by Laetiporus sulphureus, a project that was published in Wiley-VCH GmbH in 2022. I have a dual master\'s degree in biotechnology from Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany, and University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland. I completed my thesis on fermentation process optimization and upscaling for natural pigment production by Laetiporus sulphureus at Technical University of Dresden. I am passionate about developing innovative, sustainable, and bio-based products that can benefit various industries and applications.
