ABOUT ABHILASH GHADEI

A passionate Speech Language and Swallowing Therapist/Audiologist.Certified in Langmore FEES and Videofluroscopy Swallowing Study (VFSS). Persued Advanced Tata Memorial Centre Fellowship in Speech and Swallowing Therapy in Head and Neck Oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. With a solid foundation of experience in Speech and Swallowing rehabilitation from my time at Dr S.R. Chandrasekhar Institute of Speech and Hearing, Bengaluru I believe I am well- equipped to contribute for patient service in strengthening and developing speech, swallowing and voice rehabilitation. At Tata Memorial Hospital, I received the profound training on speech and swallowing rehabilitation for a wide range of Head and Neck Cancer patients, worked jointly with the Head and Neck Surgeon, Gained expertise in independently performing some highly specialised procedures like Flexible Laryngoscopy (FOL), Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), Video Stroboscopy and Video Fluoroscopy Swallowing Study (VFSS). Trained in Tracheostomy care, Management, Laryngectomy rehabilitation, Speech Language and Swallowing rehabilitation in critical and intensive care unit. Over the past few years, I have dedicated myself to the field of Speech Language and Swallowing Therapy, providing compassionate and effective care to patients across various age groups and with diverse needs. My experience has honed my ability to assess and treat a wide range of swallowing, voice,language, Fluency,Speech Disorders and other associated disorders with exclusive speech and language needs disorders. I hold experience of many National and International oral paper and poster Presentations on clinical research. I believe in the power of evidence-based practice combined with a personalized touch and I have seen the positive impact that this approach can have on patient’s lives.
