About Abhik Maji
A risk professional with 7+ years of experience in the field of Internal Audit and risk consulting. I enjoy working with people from multi-disciplinary backgrounds and learning from them. I have previously worked with professional service firms like EY India, PwC India and BDO India which shaped me as a professional. I have been fortunate to work with some of the leading listed and unlisted companies in India. I got an early opportunity in my career to lead engagements and teams which was invaluable experience. Currently I am working with Rio Tinto, the world\'s second largest mining company with annual turnover of above USD 54Bn. In India, Rio Tinto has set up a GCC (Group Services) operations. I am responsible for managing the risk controls, design and effectiveness of 50 controls for the IP team for all the regions, which annually processes ~USD 14Bn payments to the vendors. Also responsible for driving the automations in the other areas of P2P such as payments, Cash Management, Vendor Master Management, Material Master management, and Travel & Expense. management. I believe in continuous learning and improvements.
