About Abhijna Sahadeva
I am a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, studying Health Care Analytics and Information Technology. My interest lies in using data to solve problems in healthcare and create meaningful improvements for patients and systems.Before starting my master’s, I worked in healthcare IT, where I focused on tasks like creating synthetic patient data, developing queries and dashboards for clinical quality measures and performing data mapping for system modernizations. During this time, I also worked on individual projects related to healthcare analytics, which allowed me to explore how data can be used to address the challenges in healthcare.At CMU, I am enhancing my expertise about using analytics and technology to make better decisions in healthcare. Some of my recent work includes analyzing healthcare payment data, exploring trends in physician compensation and healthcare expenditures.I am actively seeking full-time job opportunities as a data analyst, data engineer or data scientist in the healthcare sector, where I can contribute to projects that use data to improve healthcare outcomes.
