Every interesting thing I see around switches me into a Do-It-Yourself mode.The newer technologies always fascinate me. If I know the what- & -how stuff, I readily dive in. Else, I couldn’t stop me to have a crash-course on it as soon as I can. Where the Internet is a huge ocean of information, who else can stop you! In this awesome process, I usually have a piece of soft surrounding music soothing my way.This is what more or less I do when I’m free and it brings me an unexplainable joy that I cherish a lot.Leaving these apart, I’m a Software Engineer by profession. I started my career as a Software Quality Analyst (ISTQB) and as days pass by, I embarked on the Automation journey. In my almost five years of QA-phase, I learned all the small-an-big perspectives of Software Testing.But, my interest was more in building the software instead of testing it. So, I started putting many efforts/weekends into achieving my goal of learning the development-stuffs. As I always believed that efforts never fail, soon I got the opportunity to become a developer of the application I had been testing so far and that’s how my DEV-phase began.Since then, I work as a Configurator of OIPA (Oracle Insurance Policy Admin) which is a rule-based policy (both Insurance and Annuity) administration solution. In OIPA, I’ve gathered much knowledge on – > Plan/Product/Transaction/Rate set-up > Screens-Fields-Validations > Map Group, OIPA Table Structure > OIPA WebService (FileReceived-AsFile)> Segment Loop, Math/ScreenMath, Spawn, Attached Rules > Domain- Fixed Annuity, Universal Life, Whole LifeI’ve also acquired the \"Oracle Insurance Policy Administration 11 Implementation Consultant\" professional certificate in 2019. My other area of knowledge (self-driven) includes – > Core Java – JDBC – Hibernate > Spring Core – Spring MVC – Spring Boot > HTML5 – CSS – Bootstrap > XML – XSD – XSLT > JavaScript – VBA – Groovy - Python I learned these by doing multiple small projects (POC) driven by my DIY-instinct.I enjoy knowing new people and their perspectives. Books are the thing that I prefer a lot and sometimes I forget the time while reading books. My friends say that I’m very busy as many a time they find me either with my work (office/DIY) or with my family (outing/chatting/food).
