As a Senior Product Engineering leader with experience in biomedical device design, clinical translation, and commercialization, I have built my career on solving the toughest challenges in implantable medical technologies. Resourceful, precise, and highly collaborative, these are traits that have enabled me to lead complex programs from concept through regulatory readiness while keeping both innovation and patient impact at the forefront.My work has spanned research, development, and manufacturing transfer for devices supported by funding from ARPA-H, DARPA, and Breakthrough T1D. I partner with CROs and CDMOs to produce clinical-grade devices, guide cross-functional teams under ISO 13485 and FDA QSR frameworks, and develop patented technologies with clear commercial potential. Key highlights include:• Helped secure over $70M in competitive funding for biomedical innovation, focusing on technologies to cure cancer and diabetes, through strategic planning and validated proof-of-concept results.• Designed and patented implantable devices that extended the in vivo viability of cell therapies in preclinical models.• Directed the full product lifecycle, from design control and verification to manufacturing transfer and compliance.My passion for medical device innovation and excellence in product lifecycle management fuels my drive to continually push the boundaries of what is possible in this space.
