As a medical reviewer with ~4.5 years of experience, I have worked across various therapeutic areas, including Oncology, Neurology, Immunology, Diabetes and Obesity, Vaccines, Infectious Diseases, etc.In addition, I have worked as a freelance scientific editor for ~1.5 years with a renowned scientific communications company, where I consistently maintained quality index and deadline conformance.At my first organization, I contributed to the initiation and expansion of oncology portfolio, where several new indications were added within a span of 1.5 years. I have worked on a diverse range of medical documents, including websites, fact sheets, infographics, MSL and HCP slide decks, videos, HQ emails, social media posts, congress and medical booth materials, clinical trial summary, etc. Worked as a Review Lead to ensure that the deliverables are reviewed in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards.Subsequently, in my second organization, I also gained experience in Veeva Vault MedComms and PromoMats content management lifecycle, including reference tagging, document upload and review cycle in addition to a brief exposure to content creation in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Currently, I work as a Quality Medical Reviewer (QMR) to ensure that medical content fulfills the general content requirements in addition to company-specific requirements, including data accuracy and procedural requirements.I have completed PhD from the Dept. of Biochemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. During my research tenure, I worked primarily in the disciplines of Cell Biology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology to address molecular pathways involved in mitochondrial proteomics.I am an avid trekker and runner. I have completed several Himalayan treks and running events ranging from 5K to ultramarathon (50K).Having a strong background of research, medical review and scientific editing, I am looking forward to opportunities in scientific/medical writing, regulatory writing and R&D.
