IPR Activities (60%):• Assessment of invention disclosure for acceptance and classification • Conducting/ Reviewing Prior Art search reports, FTO Infringement analysis, Invalidity searches, Technology mapping/ forecasting reports, Market intelligence report based on patent data and other activities, before proceeding to next action and provide necessary inputs for revisions if any, and review the drafted patent applications and revise, if required before filing. • Drafting/Reviewing Patent applications• Managing/ performing activities in relation to Patent, Design, and Copyright filings• Prosecution of Patents, Designs and Copyrights in India and foreign jurisdictions• Maintenance of IPRs (Renewal/ Annuity) and updating internal OIDS system (Docketing system programmed by Tata Motors Ltd.)• Preparation of statements regarding working of patent on commercial scale (Form 27)• Liaison with attorneys for timely updating and uploading of documents and other relevant internal agencies • Replying to inventors for all queries or status or as required• Providing IPR filing details to different agencies as requiredAdministrative Activities (40%):• Rewards & Recognition• Development of IPR Management system, resolving all issues related to the system and supporting the associated team for upgrading the system on regular basis • Clearing invoices of attorneys and other service providers as per the agreed tariffs and special cases as per the inputs from the concerned departmental colleagues• Be a Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for complying with departmental requirements including quality system management or any other assigned projects• Complying to the legal requirements in relation to filing or prosecution of IPRs in India and foreign countries (Copyright docs, PoA, DoA)• Other departmental works as assigned.

At Tata Motors Ltd, I am responsible for handling the matters relating to IPR ideas right from idea generation (Patents, Industrial Designs and Copyright) till its final process i.e. grant/approval and even in opposition and litigation. Further, I am also working for a software for some automated landscape. I believe my past experience where I was trained for IPR matters (especially procedures related to Patents, Designs, Trademarks and Copyrights), has helped me to understand Intellectual property in a precise way. At Tata Motors, I work to solve all doubts of the inventors who look forward for contributing towards the Intellectual property of the company. I aspire to be an IP professional who will always be willing to serve any person for clearing his/her any doubts related to Intellectual Property matters. Before joining Tata Motors, my patent searching and drafting skills were reinforcement at Johnson Controls India, Pune. I was also the Training management Co-ordinator for managing and scheduling trainings at Johnson Controls. I have completed my LL. B. as it is required for my techno - legal work. I have a Mechanical Engineering Degree (First Class with Distinction) from University of Pune.
