My approach focused on building robust systems that could seamlessly handle diverse data workloads, ensuring the platform met strict security and performance requirements for healthcare operations.To automate the provisioning and configuration of AWS infrastructure, I relied on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, which ensured consistent deployments and alignment with HIPAA standards. This included the implementation of security best practices such as IAM controls, encryption of sensitive information, and comprehensive audit logging. Additionally, I developed reusable mechanisms for transitionary data loads and purging, supporting data retention and synchronization between legacy and cloud-native systems while maintaining accuracy through well-designed migration and reconciliation strategies.Centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions were implemented to enhance platform reliability and support phased migration efforts from legacy DB2 systems to modern AWS services.
