Ads & Monetization: o Designed, implemented and migrated the implementation of Native Ads from client slide (java script-based implementation) to server side (API implementation) for MSN.com as well as Edge default home page. o Built a large-scale service to serve highly contextual ads and sponsored content to several million, daily active users on a broad range of devices. o Designed and built a service for mediated ad delivery using micro-services architecture. It mediates among sponsored content providers to maximize RPM and provide the user the most relevant ads. o Integrated third-party sponsored content, inline contextual ads, sponsored search ads from ad industry leaders such as Outbrain, Taboola, AOL, AppNexus on Microsoft media properties such as MSN and Xbox. o Implemented UX redesign for info pane as well as river cards for Edge DHP (Default Home Page), NTP (New Tab Page) and IE NTP (IE New Tab page). o Designed and implemented the auto ad refresh mechanism which leads to 40% increase in revenue without impacting page performance as well as user behavior. o Developed internal feedback tool for msn dog-food bugs which is integrated across different platforms: MSN website, Windows phone, big Windows, Android and iOS apps.
