ABOUT ABHAYA TRIPATHI

Abhaya Tripathi is currently a Senior Manager of Airport Security at Denver International Airport. Before this role, Abhaya was the Airport Security Compliance Manager for the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA). At the ACAA, he oversaw the Airport Security Program, regulatory compliance, regulatory requirements for the new Terminal Modernization Program, contract security, and process improvement. Prior to that role, Abhaya was an Airport Security Compliance Analyst at San Antonio International Airport (SAT). At SAT, Abhaya was responsible for ensuring the airport is in compliance with CFR 1542, Security Directives, National Amendments, and the Airport Security Program. He also administered the Allied Universal contract security contract. Abhaya graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) with a degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management, minor in management, and a certificate in Airport Management in 2019. During his time at MSU Denver, he was the Student Chapter President. He also completed the summer Terminal/Airside Operations internship and the yearlong Airport Security internship at Denver International Airport.Abhaya has been actively involved with the industry since he was a student, and is the past Chair of the Young Professionals committee. He enjoys getting young professionals excited about the industry and creating opportunities for others. A few areas of key skills include regulatory compliance, contract compliance, research, process improvement, relationship building, data analysis/metrics, and strategic planning.
