IDx-DR, a fully autonomous AI-based device for the detection of diabetic retinopathy was recently cleared by the FDA. Recently, Digital Diagnostics recently acquired 3Derm. The Digital Diagnostics platform will immediately include telemedicine capabilities for dermatology, 3DermTriage,™ in preparation for FDA authorization of its autonomous AI skin cancer diagnostic system, 3DermSpot™.Current research and development interests include - using deep learning based techniques to power AI algorithms for automated disease diagnosis and image analysis/classification.
