Design and enforce IAM policies, roles, and permissions to ensure secure and controlled access to AWS services and resources. Manage and support a wide range of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC, and Route 53. Ensure stability, availability, and performance of cloud infrastructure across development, QA, and production environments. Administer AWS Redshift clusters and serverless setups including user creation, database/schema management, and access control. Create and manage external schemas in Redshift using Athena and Glue Data Catalog. Provision and monitor EMR clusters for big data processing; configure steps, bootstrap actions, and optimize cluster performance. Troubleshoot query performance and connectivity issues across Redshift and Athena workloads. Implement cross-account access roles for application teams and audit IAM setups for compliance and security best practices. Regularly manage and troubleshoot role-based console access and programmatic access issues. Perform scheduled OS and application patching for EC2 instances using automation tools like AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager. Validate patches in staging environments before production rollout and ensure proper rollback plans in case of issues. Maintain compliance with internal and client-mandated security patching policies.
