Automated Collateral Reconciliation Tool– Objective: Develop a standalone tool to ensure that collateral records in the Loan Approval System are perfectly aligned with those in the Core Banking System, eliminating valuation, perfection, and data‐entry discrepancies.– Architecture & Data Flow: 1. Data Extraction: Nightly ETL jobs pull collateral datasets from both systems—using parameterized SQL queries for the Core Banking database and API calls or flat‑file exports from the Approval System. Staging Layer: Both feeds land in a dedicated staging schema, where raw records are timestamped and versioned for audit purposes. Normalization Engine: A microservice (built in Java/Spring Boot) standardizes naming conventions, date formats, currency units, and collateral ID mappings.– Matching & Rules Engine: • Applies deterministic matching on primary keys (e.g, Collateral ID + Facility Number). • Executes fuzzy‑match algorithms for valuation dates (allowing a configurable grace period) and valuation variances within a set tolerance (e.g, ±1%). • Flags records where perfection status or legal charge flags differ.– Exception Dashboard & Reporting: • Web‐based UI (Angular/React) lists mismatches by severity: missing records, out‑of‑tolerance valuations, and imperfect charges. • Exportable exception reports (PDF/Excel) and in‑tool comments allow Operations and Legal teams to document remediation actions.– Workflow Integration:
