About Amit Bhaiya

I discovered entrepreneurship long before I knew what it meant, but I can confidently say that I have been a serial entrepreneur for over 15 years. Growing up in a very business-oriented family helped me to learn a lot, but my first entrepreneurial endeavor began during my early undergrad years as a Computer Science Major at NJIT.I started my first business endeavor by selling books out of my dorm room on Half.com (later bought by eBay), which I carried out until graduation. In fact, I was qualified as a ‘Power Seller’ by eBay for my consistent and far-reaching efforts. At the same time, I also worked with ASA College in NYC, where I single-handedly managed and initiated their online department and had a staff of 22 teachers reporting to me. These experiences led me to co-founding DotcomWeavers, which grew from a Web Design company into a full-blown Web & eCommerce Solutions provider.DotcomWeavers creates end-to-end custom web solutions for small and medium-sized businesses across 15+ different markets. Our company has played a pivotal role in helping several of our clients to increase their sales dramatically and to grow into major players in the e-commerce world. Our top clients include Agilent Technologies, Magnets, Pump Products and Cutting Edge Stencils to name a few. Personally, I have made it my goal to create a lifestyle that I enjoy, rather than just a job. I’m passionate about business, constantly innovating ways to create value for my customers so that they can deliver the same value to theirs. Additionally, I\'m proud to serve as an Expert Guest Columnist for The Huffington Post, The Business Journal and more. On the side, I also own two local Indian restaurants.
