I have been serving as a Consultant - Analytics at EXL Services, working with Prudential Insurance. In this role, I am responsible for migrating data sources for Power BI reports from Archer to OpenPages, ensuring smooth data flow and modifying existing reports to accommodate the new data source. I utilize SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for data extraction and transformation, combining and updating data through SQL commands to ensure accuracy and consistency. I am also developing a centralized security feature to implement Row-Level Security (RLS) across all reports, ensuring data confidentiality for sensitive information. Additionally, I create reports from scratch based on business requirements, including designing visuals, implementing DAX for creating measures and calculated columns, and establishing relationships between tables to ensure the integrity and clarity of the data. Using Power Query Editor, I transform data and create interactive, user-friendly dashboards with various visual elements to enhance decision-making. I collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and business teams to gather requirements, ensuring that the analytical solutions I develop are aligned with business objectives and provide actionable insights.
