ABOUT ABEN BINU
Hi, I’m Aben Binu, a second year Schreyer Honors Aerospace Engineering undergraduate at Penn State University, driven by curiosity, sustainability, and the challenge of advancing the future of flight and space exploration.I’m currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant working on enhancing heat-transfer performance using passive flow control techniques, including vortex generators, where I analyze surface geometries and experimental data using MATLAB. In parallel, I contribute as a CAD Designer for Penn State’s SAE AeroDesign team, supporting the development of precision components for an RC aircraft.Beyond academics, I’m actively involved in SASE and serve as a THON Chair with SASA, helping lead large-scale fundraising and awareness initiatives. I enjoy collaborating across teams and applying engineering fundamentals to real-world problems.I’m eager to connect with researchers, engineers, and industry professionals working in aerospace, energy systems, and sustainable technologies.
