As Director of Operations at The Big Picture, I am responsible for the Production Management of all projects that come in. From the time the job is called in, I determine schedule, hire necessary crew and equipment, and plan out the timeline for completion. Over the past several years, I have overseen several hundred productions which range from broadcast shoots to corporate industrials and beyond.I am involved in all phases of production. This includes pre-production (Script review, scheduling, and coordinating), Production (Camera selection and setup, audio recording, and lighting), Post Production (Scheduling, capture, editing, review), and file delivery (Including file conversion and delivery). I am responsible for the employees at The Big Picture. From determining the projects each team member will work on to the policies that they follow. I plan what projects my interns, production assistants, and production coordinators work on in addition to following up with them to determine they are completed. I set schedules based on current workload and priorities, in addition to improving production by bringing in specialists to complete aspects of the job that our internal team cannot complete on their own.
