After dedicating 17 years to one organization, I set a goal to complete my higher educational goals of earning a doctoral degree while working. To accomplish my goal, I started to provide fractional consulting healthcare services to various organizations-I enjoy providing per-contract projects, short-term projects, and long-term contracts to deliver my expertise and gain experience. I am an accomplished Doctor of Health Administration graduate and healthcare executive. I specialize in Health Information Management (HIM) and Health Administration (HA) and have over two decades of experience in the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) industry. I have gained tremendous knowledge and experience in all areas, including executive leadership, healthcare compliance, operations management, revenue cycle management, human resources, and sales. I am dedicated to driving efficiency, increasing productivity, and conveying enthusiasm by managing talent, delegating tasks, and building cross-functional teams within a diverse organization. As an RCM leader, I support solutions centered around Revenue Assurance (DRG Validation, Charge Capture, Transfer DRG), Payer Accountability (Denials Recovery, Underpayments, BlueCard), and Medicare Reimbursements (340B, DSH, 1500, Medicare Bad Debt, S-10).I am passionate about people and loyal to improving our healthcare industry. I know there is a soft side to my work, but numbers tell our stories and economics drive our behaviors, and I am a whiz at both.
