About Abel Jo Alex
I am a passionate and motivated engineering student with a strong interest in project management, leadership, and technical outreach. Through my involvement with I’ve held impactful roles such as Student Branch Chair, Vice Chair of PES, and currently, Regional Lead for Region 3. I’ve had the opportunity to lead and coordinate over 30 technical and humanitarian events, including major conferences like the Blockchain Technical Conference and NEP 2020 Dialogue under the Bangalore Section. One of my proudest achievements has been leading the PES High-Performance Student Branch Chapters Program (HPSBCP) 2024, where I connected with 54 engineering colleges, guiding them to apply and receive recognition and funding. I’ve also contributed to STEM awareness and electrical safety outreach in underserved communities like leprosy centers and high schools. These experiences have shaped my leadership, event coordination, and cross-cultural communication skills. I’m now working toward a career in project management, where I hope to combine my technical background with a people-first mindset to lead meaningful and well-executed initiatives.
