ABOUT ABEJE A. SILTE
With 10+ years of experience, I am a dedicated Ph.D. Chemist with a comprehensive background in medicinal, organic, and bio-organic chemistry. My career has focused on small-molecule drug discovery, where I have successfully led projects from the design and synthesis phase through to in vivo pharmacological evaluation.I have a strong command of analytical method development, including NMR, HPLC, and LC-MS, which has been critical for compound characterization and validation. My achievements include process optimization and scale-up, leading to significant cost savings and efficiency gains.My research has concentrated on synthetic organic chemistry for the total synthesis of supramolecular macrocycles, which have applications in both biological treatments and environmental hazard detection. Additionally, I have developed organic and organometallic reagents for the precise detection of various biomarkers in body fluids, applying principles of medicinal chemistry to solve complex challenges.
