I undertake the entire scope of my surgical portfolio in my private practice at the Leeds Nuffield Hospital. I have championed the uptake of innovative bariatric procedures at the Leeds Nuffield Hospital. In 2010, I led a partnership between the Leeds Nuffield Hospital and Satiety Inc, from California, to develop the first European Centre for TOGA: a revolutionary endoscopic procedure to staple the stomach. Disappointingly, the project was abandoned because private equity investors withdrew funding from Satiety Inc. I performed the first EndoBarrier procedure in Leeds at the Nuffield Hospital, and now undertake this procedure exclusively at the Leeds Nuffield Hospital. The EndoBarrier is an incision-less weight loss procedure that involves the insertion of a specially-designed \'liner\' in to the upper part of the small bowel by endoscopy. Also, I have practice-privileges for Abiliti, a novel weight loss procedure, which comprises placement of a \'pacemaker\' on the stomach to control appetite.
