I am a proud Kentuckian, Bengali American, dog daddy, everlasting educator, and lifelong learner interested in leadership development, public policy, and community empowerment. I work full-time as a Recovery Project Coordinator for Recovery Corps to strengthen supports and systems for people in recovery from substance use disorders at Voice of Hope in Lexington, KY; I design and implement initiatives for volunteer engagement, public health, and education to address urgent needs across the addiction continuum of care. I am also the Director of Special Projects (and former Chief Operating Officer) for AllPeople Marketplace, where I drive forward the micro-investor model to incentivize grassroots investments that advance sustainable, viral growth through equity, democracy, and inclusion. Additionally, I am the Co-Director of New Leaders Council Kentucky, where I manage our chapter to empower diverse individuals across the state to drive social and political change.Beyond those professional roles, I host Local Global Leaders, a monthly podcast for WUKY radio station and National Public Radio (NPR) that highlights changemakers in Kentucky. I am also active in my community as a member of the Board of Directors for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Lexington, the Access Lexington Commission, and Kentuckians For the Commonwealth.
