About Abedallah Alsharqiya
Hello! My name is Abedallah Alsharqiya. I\'m currently a sophomore at the College of Staten Island, studying Computer Science to get my bachelor\'s degree. I hope to soon pursue my dreams by earning my bachelor\'s and transferring to a university to earn a master\'s degree in information technology. I have a strong passion for cybersecurity and IT (Information Technology). I\'ve always been curious about how systems work behind the screens. I always wanted to know why systems fail and how I could secure them efficiently. I\'m CompTIA A+ certified and soon pursuing other certifications such as Network+, Security+, CISSP, and more. I am capable of actively having hands-on technician skills, and I keep growing my skills in IT support, networking, and security fundamentals. I\'m also expanding my skill set in the coding world with C++, Python, HTML, CSS, and SQL, and I\'ve been learning so fast through both coursework and real-world experience. Alongside my studies, I work in AI research and have previous experience with technical situations in retail, such as troubleshooting registers quickly in busy store environments, working with electronics, and handling animatronics ins and outs. These roles have strengthened my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. My goal is to keep strengthening not only my mind but also my skill set every day to open that door for me in the IT field.
