Working with various City departments along with our consultants to develop and implement the City\'s first comprehensive general plan update since incorporation: Envision Wildomar 2040. Work completed includes attending and facilitating workshops, pop ups, and answering resident questions on the general plan update, and leading General Plan Advisory Group meetings.\\\\n\\\\n• Leading the process to amend the multifamily design guidelines document, including leading discussions, providing instruction to our consultants, presenting at Planning Commission and City Council, and submitting reimbursement requests from the State.\\\\n\\\\n• Heading the Planning Department’s plan check review process including working with the City\'s engineering and building departments.\\\\n\\\\n• Working with the Planning Director on the city’s development review process as part of the City\'s current planning activities, including FSPODs, CUPs, Variances, Plot Plans, and Parcel/Tract Maps including drafting staff reports and presenting at public hearings for assigned entitlements.\\\\n\\\\n• Coordinating with the Community Development Director and other City departments and consultants on SB 2 housing implementation programs, CDBG program activities, and other advanced planning related assignments.\\\\n\\\\n• Supervising and directing Planning Department personnel as the primary position responsible for overseeing the city’s land use and zoning counter and working with the city’s on-call consultants to provide excellent customer service to the City\'s residents and development community.\\\\n\\\\n• Assisting the Community Development Director on zoning ordinance updates, special projects, assistance in supporting the city’s economic development activities, and CEQA review procedures.\\\\n\\\\n• Led the process to update our TUP ordinance and provided presentations to Commission and Council. Heavily assisted in our SB9 process, and developed an SB9 application and have been working on streamlining the SB9 process moving forward.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
