ABOUT ABDUL RASHID

I am an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) with more than nineteen years experience in developing, implementing and supporting applications using Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Developer tools. I started using Oracle tools in 1995, Oracle 7 and with Forms 4.5, Reports 2.5 and Graphics 2.5. After many phases of upgrades, currently using Oracle 11g and Developer suite 10g and 11g.Over time, I have developed excellent development and troubleshooting skills while working in Aerospace, IT Services and the Retail sector. I am always keen to learn new technologies to enhance and keep my skills up to date. Recently started developing applications using Oracle APEX.Working in different roles, I have been responsible for building complete applications as well as individual modules for enterprise applications. All applications consisted of multiple Forms, Reports and PL/SQL Packages and were for multiple concurrent users. When building a complete application, I have been responsible for all stages of the project, from requirements gathering/analysis through design/development to implementation and support. I have also developed numerous PL/SQL packages to be used to generate/process interface files to share data among different systems.
