ABOUT ABDULRAHMAN ABDELRAZEK

With nearly 15 years of experience across research, industry, and academia, I bring a strong background in smart services, immersive technologies #metaverse, digital transformation,#digitalisation, and #AI.I am working at the Service Engineering team at #Fraunhofer IAO in Stuttgart, part of the #KODIS division. I currently serve as a guest lecturer at Furtwangen University (Smart Service Innovation) and University of Stuttgart (Service Innovation, 3D Technologies, and Immersive Technologies). My academic and professional journey focuses on the intersection of technology, innovation, and service design, with a particular interest in #service prototyping and eXtended Reality #XR. I am an active board member of the ICE TEMS International Conference on Engineering, Technology and Innovation, where I lead the Marketing & Communications Committee, and co-chair both the Reviewing and Technology Committees. Over the years, I’ve authored numerous research papers, journal articles, and book chapters on service innovation, XR applications, and digital transformation.I hold a #Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering (Arts et Métiers ParisTech / HESAM Université, France), a Master’s in IT Business Consulting (Furtwangen University, Germany), and a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering (Arab Academy for Science & Technology, Egypt). I’m passionate about exploring new research collaborations, innovation opportunities, and scientific dialogue in the fields of Metaverse, Service Design, and Technology Innovation. Always open to exchanging ideas and connecting with professionals, academics, and innovators driving digital transformation forward. Through my research and collaborations, I aim to support organizations in turning emerging technologies into real-world, human-centered solutions.
