ABOUT ABDULLAH SIDDIQUI

A leader who is able to provide individual contributions and visualize and strategize toward the final outcome. The past three projects received regulatory approval and went straight to market using my bulletproof approach to DHF creation.I have extensive 3D modeling expertise in Solidworks, Creo, and AutoCAD stemming from +10 years as a CAD and BIM lead technician before obtaining a BS in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine and an MSEE from USC (Fight On!). I used these skills within a team in UC Irvine\'s capstone project to create a catheter to place sutures around the mitral valve annulus to treat regurgitation. The team at USC\'s capstone project successfully measured blood pressure non-invasively by comparing the transit time an EKG signal took to reach the fingertip. My latest endeavor is as a process development engineer for the clinical manufacturing of the first autologous 3D-bioprinted living implant. I am responsible for the medical device portion of this biologic-device combination product.I have a strong foundation in data collection, analysis, statistics, and visualization using tools such as Minitab, Excel, and PowerPoint. I have experience in FDA-regulated industries with an emphasis on the clinical safety of biologics and medical device combination products.I am most excited about the potential of drug-device combinations. I adore the cardiovascular system, am excited about unlocking the potential of the brain, and understand cellular activity is the key to regenerative medicine. I am highly skilled in medical devices, medical device regulations, combination devices, technical communication/writing, team leadership, and project management.
