About Abdullah Qadri
I’m a Computer Science student at UNC Charlotte, focused on Software Engineering, and interested in building practical, reliable software that solves real problems. I began coding by creating a payroll system for my mom’s restaurant, which shaped how I approach engineering.I’m currently an Application Engineer Co-Op at Vanguard on the Legal Product Team. Previously at Ally Financial, I built a reusable CI/CD and deployment monitoring module used by 30+ teams, and at Iceberg Diamonds, I developed retail automation tools that reduced pricing errors and improved daily operations. Outside of tech, I served as President of UMR at UNC Charlotte, leading fundraising and community initiatives that support marginalized communities.
