ABOUT ABDULLAH MOSTAFA
Abdullah Mostafa is an Egyptian documentary filmmaker and producer based in Berlin. With a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for human emotion, he has spent over 15 years crafting narratives that resonate with audiences worldwide. His work has been featured on platforms such as Al Jazeera Documentary, AJ+, Deutsche Welle, Voice of America, Netflix, ENTR, and the United Nations. Abdullah was involved in Hollywoodgate (2023), which premiered at the Venice and Telluride Film Festivals and was shortlisted for the 2025 Oscars®. He also produced The Children Behind Zalaga (2023), which premiered at the Film Festival della Lessinia in Italy and won the FUTURE Award. In addition, Abdullah directed and produced Double Vision (2016). He is currently directing his first feature documentary, Song of the South, continuing his journey of bringing meaningful stories to life.
