As the Regional Head of Logistics, I liaise and advise the Regional Director and Director of Global Logistics in developing and optimizing operational logistics designs and field procedures. I integrate and optimize humanitarian logistics operations in the region by introducing innovative logistics solutions through effective contracting and vendor management, demand forecasting, and strategic sourcing plans.I strengthen regional oversight by taking the initiative to establish a regional logistics monitoring dashboard, designed for KPI tracking, monitoring team performance, and work plans across the region, resulting in improved accountability and operational transparency. Moreover, I build and foster relationships with government authorities, internal and external stakeholders, and WFP partners to actively collaborate on key supply chain functions. I support regional countries through Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans (EPRP) by designing emergency response plans, contingency planning, and continuous logistics preparedness reviews, resulting in maintaining a regional surge roster for sudden-onset emergencies and staffing needs.
