About Abdullah al Maruf

Interested in studying novel phenomena in different quantum condensed matter systems using computational and experimental techniques. Past work involved high spin-polarized ferro- and antiferromagentic Heusler alloys for spintronics application. Currently investigating ultra-low energy excited states in Tl-doped scintillators using hybrid DFT using facilities at NERSC/LBL. Additionally, broadly worked on sustainable energy materials and device research, i.e. solid-state Li-ion batteries. Highly passionate about quantum architecture design/simulation and fabrication research as well.
