ABOUT ABDULAH AL-JALAAD
Structural engineering graduate from the University of Waterloo and a Masters of Engineering candidate at the University of Toronto. Throughout my undergraduate journey I was able to get involved in different civil engineering practices in the consulting and the construction fields. I have participated in performing design evaluations, design checks, development and QA/QC of engineering drawings for wet and dry utilities, roads, and buildings. I have strong understanding of various codes and standards used in road design such as TAC and OTM as well as structural design including National Building Code of Canada (NBCC), Ontario Building Code (OBC), CSA A23.3, CSA S16, and CSA S6 (CHBDC). In addition, I have earned a specialization in structural engineering.
