ABOUT ABDUL SAMAD

Creative, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual that is currently working in an architectural practice in a residential team that is utilising the desire to progress higher in chosen career; achievement oriented, with a natural ability to lead projects and complete them to stringent deadlines; effective working under pressure and exceeding expectations with excellent problem solving skills that produce first rate results. Able to use Revit & AutoCAD profficiently to create detailed planning, tender and construction packages throughout the different stages. Have a good construction knowledge, and am able to create detailed technical and construction details. Also able to specify to NBS specify products. Have an understanding of BREEAM inputs needed at building control. Able to survey a property and create notes for further plans. I have a good knowledge in current building regulations in the UK. In university I have designed a medium sized Hostel to current building regulations, and final year project was an Arts Centre. I can understand and assess client requirements and user needs in the development of the design brief, outline proposals and other design information. Identify and evaluate strategies for design of low energy and sustainable buildings. Appraise and integrate concepts and principles associated with the selection of construction methods, materials and environmental services.
