At Tata Elxsi, I’ve been working as a Python Developer and Module Lead, contributing to multiple critical backend systems in the IoT and automation space.My primary responsibility is leading the backend development of a scalable IoT Device Management System, integrated with AWS IoT Core. This system manages provisioning, lifecycle events, and real-time shadow updates for over IoT devices. I played a key role in redesigning the microservice architecture to make it more scalable and adaptable to different device types.I built RESTful APIs using Flask, and integrated Kafka for real-time communication between cloud components and downstream processors. I also worked extensively with MongoDB and MySQL for data storage and management. API lifecycle and security were handled using WSO2 API Manager, ensuring smooth versioning and controlled access.Additionally, I developed a Device Relationship Visualization Tool using Python, Flask, Pandas, and vanilla JavaScript. This tool processes CSV files with devices and dynamically maps I/O ports, reducing manual system analysis by over 60%. I implemented async programming using asyncio to improve performance during large file parsing.Another key project was the Gherkin Feature File Automation Tool, which automated the conversion of QA test cases into standardized Gherkin feature files using Python multithreading and regex parsing. This greatly accelerated QA cycles and improved consistency.Alongside my technical responsibilities, I mentor junior developers, manage module-level deliveries, and contribute to architectural discussions.
