I work as part of the Design and Engineering team, focusing on the full lifecycle of infrastructure platforms including VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, HyperFlex, Windows Server, and Linux.The second part is working on automation. We use Ansible and PowerShell to automate different parts of the infrastructure.The third area is reviewing the existing infrastructure and making necessary improvements so that it becomes more proactive and adds more value to the environment.I act as an L3 and L4 escalation point. Issues are tested in the lab, root cause is identified, solutions are documented, and validated fixes are rolled out across data centres.We also work with a large numbers of data center, so whenever any reporting issue comes up, the engineering team is responsible for analysing it, fixing it, preparing the solution, and documenting it. This is how we support and improve the overall infrastructure.
